Tic:Toc is looking for an experienced Home Loan Specialist to join our growing operations team. We are at the leading edge of technology and innovation in home loans, and everyone at Tic:Toc plays there part in it. At Tic:Toc  Home Loan Specialists and our Credit Assessors are embedded within the one team to facilitate the best customer experience, from first enquiry to settlement and beyond, and leverage the growth opportunities that working together and building good bonds creates. 

 

You will be involved in assisting customers with their home loan product queries and application assessment progress, through to testing the platform and policies as part of a team that endeavors to continuously improve. 

 

This role offers a unique opportunity for passionate home loan specialist who is looking for a new challenge. 

 

Whilst the core requirement of the role is providing assistance to customers via the telephone, email and chat, in accordance with our policies and products, this is done in a whole new way and with this role comes the opportunity to help shape how the operations team functions both today and in the future. 

 

We would like to meet people with a range of levels of experience in home lending and also people who wish to grow in the role.

To be considered for this position, you:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or be willing to obtain one);
  • Have a minimum 2+ year of experience in residential mortgage lending / support;
  • Love providing standout service to customers and guiding them through our digital process;
  • Have detailed knowledge of all relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Have high attention to detail;
  • Dedicated team player with a positive attitude;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new practices and procedures;
  • Relish the challenge of using technology to disrupt existing business practices;
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Are able to manage multiple calls and chats, sometimes under time pressure and still keep your head.
  • Willingness to work weekends

The team is growing as we embark on the next stage of our strategic growth, with not only providing home loans through Tic:Toc, but also for a number of our partners.

 

We are open for the extended hours, which are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Our Home Loan Specialists are rostered to work shifts over the weekend and these extended hours.

We have a newly created role leading our risk function here at Tic:Toc. This role will continue the development of our risk framework, focusing on the integration of risk thinking in all that we do. You will be a master of all things risk and be confident in the identification and management of risk frameworks, tools and systems. You will join a culture that is authentic and creative, where we make time for each other.

 

to be successful in this role you will:

  • Be eager to improve current risk and compliance processes and policies
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of Tic:Toc’s Risk Management Framework
  • Have the expertise to integrate the Risk Management Framework into the day to day operating rhythm of the business
  • Ensure the business understands and meets its legislative, regulatory and policy obligations
  • Ensure the risk management reporting systems and procedures are adequate and fit for purpose
  • Ensure the appropriate risk controls and treatment plans are in place for all identified extreme/high risks
  • Embed the appropriate risk culture at Tic:Toc, balancing innovation with risk management
  • Act as a Risk subject matter expert for our business consulting on day to day risk matters, major projects or business initiatives, facilitating a risk assessment as appropriate
  • Provide expertise in identifying, assessing, mitigating and reporting on risks across the business
  • Facilitate effective remediation of risk events, coordinating stakeholders as required, then ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place to mitigate future risk events from occurring
